MPD bares route for Sto. Niño procession

MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Police District (MPD) released on Thursday the procession route for the 47th anniversary of the return of Santo Niño image in Tondo, Manila.

MPD, through its traffic enforcement unit, said the procession would start on Friday at 4 a.m.

Here is the procession route:

-Starting at Sto Niño Church- Lakandula Street

-Turn right to Wagas Street

-Turn right to Moriones Street

-Turn left to Juan Luna Street, then, make a U-turn at Pritil

-Turn right to Herbosa Street

-Turn left to Velasquez Street

-Turn left to Perla Street

-Turn right to Sta. Maria Street, then, cross to J. Nolasco Street

-Go straight back to Sto Niño Church-End

MPD advised motorists to avoid the affected roads and take alternate routes while the stop-and-go scheme would be implemented during the procession.
