MANILA, Philippines – After the Kyoto Animation studio was engulfed in a fire caused by a suspected arson that killed 33 people and injured 36 others, animators and fans took to Twitter to pay tribute for the Japanese studio using a hashtag #PrayForKyoaniが世界に拡散

Animation studio Toei Animation and Funimation expressed their support through a twitter post by sharing “Kyoto animation moments and memories.”

Anime streaming platform Crunchyroll said that they are devastated by the attack and mourn the senseless loss of lives. They also encouraged their fans and followers to share a message of support to the Kyoto Animation.
