BOC seizes P1.4 M weed sent by mail from US
MANILA, Philippines – The Bureau of Customs (BOC) seized an estimated P1.4 million worth of Kush marijuana concealed in snack packs in Pasay City.

The BOC on Tuesday said that the marijuana was seized from a San Juan City resident who claimed the contraband at the Central Mail Exchange Center late Monday.
The marijuana was found hidden inside a bag of tortilla chips package sent from Illinois, USA.
BOC said the marijuana weighed a total of 847.20 grams.
The arrested individual will be charged for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /gsg
