USC-North, USPF log NBTC wins

THE UNIVERSITY of San Carlos (USC)-North and the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) logged victories in the ongoing 2011 Seaoil National Basketball Training Center Elite League at the City Sports Club.

USC-North dominated the Philippine Christian Gospel School, 68-39, as Benedict Aliser tallied 15 points to lead the Baby Warriors.

Meanwhile, the Baby Panthers of USPF turned to Winston Bolivar and Jomari Gairanod to fuel their attack as they overwhelmed the Abellana National High School, 78-55.

Bolivar and Gairanod, mainstays on the USPF squad that finished third in the Cesafi juniors competition, had 14 and 11 points, respectively. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
