The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is set to deploy official ballots and other poll paraphernalia for the overseas absentee voting that will be held a month before the May 13 regular midterm elections.

“The first shipment will be this March, more likely this second week of March,” said Elaiza Sabile-David, head of the Comelec Office for Overseas Voting.

She said the printing of ballots had long been completed by the National Printing Office.

“We have started the packing of ballots,” David said.
