Pagasa warns: Possible flooding in Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Bukidnon 

Some parts of the country will still experience cloudy skies and some rain shower on Saturday due to the prevailing northeast monsoon and easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Friday.

MANILA, Philippines — The state weather bureau warned on Friday that Camiguin, Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon may experience flooding due to light to moderate rains.

In a General Flood Advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Service Administration (Pagasa) announced that rivers in Camiguin may be affected by the downpour.

Meanwhile, Pagasa also warned of possible flooding in Misamis Oriental, particularly the rivers of Odiongan, Gingoog, Balatocan, Cabulig, Lower Tagaloan, Lower/Middle Western Cagayan, Iponon and Alubijid.

In Bukidnon, Pagasa warned that possible flooding incidents may also affect the rivers of upper Tagaloan and Upper/Eastern Cagayan.

Pagasa also advised people living near the mountain slopes and low lying areas and concerned Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils to take necessary precautionary measures. /jpv
