MANILA, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed former Malabon City Vice Mayor Mark Allan Jay Yambao as undersecretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Duterte signed the appointment paper of Yambao on Tuesday, a copy of which was released to the media on Friday.
Prior to his appointment at DSWD, Yambao served as Malabon vice mayor from 1995 to 2004.
Duterte also appointed Michelle Aguilar-Ong and lawyer Lucille Karen Malilong-Isberto as Nayong Pilipino Foundation board members.
Aguilar-Ong and Malilong-Isberto will replace Gerald Medina and Patricia Yvette Ocampo, respectively./gsg
