ECHAGUE, Isabela —- An 18-year-old motorcycle driver was killed in a collision with a truck on Thursday night in Maligaya village here, police said.
Luord John Acoba was maneuvering his motorcycle in reverse when he was struck by the truck driven by Romulo Apalla, 58, of San Isidro town. Apalla surrendered to the police.
Truck helper Jay-ar Bigala claimed he signalled Acoba as the truck approached but was ignored.
Acoba, who was dragged through the road by the truck, was declared dead on arrival at the Isabela South Specialists Hospital Inc. /kga
