DID YOU KNOW: MMDA records 14,707 motorcycle accidents in 8 months

According to latest data from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, there were 14,707 motorcycles involved in road crashes in the National Capital Region from January to August this year.

Of the total, 124 incidents resulted in deaths, 6,608 caused nonfatal injuries, while 7,975 resulted in damage to property. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
