Christmas season = road gridlock

As the holiday season rolls in, so would hundreds of thousands of shoppers—arriving not on reindeer sleds but in vehicles choking Metro Manila’s roads.

Anticipating the traffic gridlock this would cause, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is enjoining mall owners in Metro Manila to open at 11 a.m. during the Christmas season.
