4 drug suspects arrested in Nueva Ecija

Woman nabbed for trying to smuggle shabu into Bohol jail

CABANATUAN CITY— Four drug suspects were arrested over the weekend in Nueva Ecija, police said.

Shortly after midnight on Sunday, Danilo Mendoza, 27; and Van Joshua Legaspi, 21; were caught smoking rolled marijuana cigarettes at the gates of the Patio Deliz bar in Barangay Sto. Niño in Gapan City at 12:50 a.m., according to Supt. Peter Madria, Gapan police chief.

Meanwhile, in Guimba town, police arrested John Mark Camile, 28, who sold a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover policeman during   drug bust arounda 7:30 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 1).

Police said they also recovered a plastic bag of shabu with a estimated street value of P15,000 from Camile.

Earlier, at 1:50 p.m., Joey Alamon, 30, was detained after he sold a sachet of shabu to a policeman, according to town police chief, Chief Insp. Domingo Resma Jr. /ee
