PANIQUI, TARLAC – A suspect was killed in a clash with undercover policemen during a Tuesday night (Aug. 28) drug bust, police said.
Arcelle Rosales, 32, allegedly fired at the police officers when he turned and fled from a police operation in Barangay (village) Nipaco. The police fired back killing Rosales at 8:35 p.m.
Police recovered two sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) and a handgun from the slain suspect.
Rosales is the 13th drug suspect to be killed in police operations conducted from July to August 2018, the Tarlac Police Office said. Maria Adelaida Calayag/lb
