Three alleged drug pushers, including the 28-year old son of a barangay chairman, were arrested by the Marikina City Police on Monday evening.

A police report on Tuesday said Marc Fernand Mira, son of a barangay chairman in the city, along with Markson Ramiro and Joey Magat were arrested in Barangay Tumana. Police did not identify Mira’s father in the report.

Prior to the arrests, police said they received information from an undisclosed tipster that the three were selling drugs in the area.

Authorities said they positively found three sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth) from the suspects after they were arrested.

The suspects are now under the custody of the Marikina City Police as charges for illegal drug possession are being prepared for filing against them.  /muf
