The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced that power interruptions are scheduled in some parts of Laguna and Sampaloc, Manila on August 3, Friday.
On Twitter on Thursday, Meralco said it will conduct maintenance operations in some areas in Laguna.
The power interruptions will take place between 8:00 and 8:15 a.m. and 5:00 and 5:15 p.m., according to its website.

- Portion of Pila
- Sta. Cruz Municipal Road from Pila Provincial Road to and including the whole town of Sta. Cruz
- Barangay Aplaya
- Barangay Bagong Pook
- Barangay Bukal
- Barangay Bulilan Sur
- Barangay Concepcion
- Barangay Labuin
- Barangay Linga
- Barangay Masico
- Barangay Mojon
- Barangay Pansol
- Barangay Pinagbayanan
- Barangay San Miguel
- Barangay Sta. Clara Sur
- Portion of Majayjay
- Liliw Municipal Road from Meralco – Botocan substation to and including the whole towns of Rizal, Liliw, Nagcarlan and Magdalena
- Barangay Bukal
- Barangay Coralao
- Barangay Ibabang Banga
- Barangay Ilayang Banga
- Barangay Malinao
- Barangay May-it

Power will also be temporarily shut down between 12:01 am and 2:00 am in some areas in Sampaloc, Manila, according to Meralco’s website:
- The portion of Nicanor Roxas Street (Laong Laan) from A. H. Lacson Avenue (Gov. Forbes) to A. Maceda Street including Algeciras, R. S. Cristobal, V. G. Cruz, M. Dela Fuente, Don Quijote and Carola Streets
- Areas near St. Jude College and Hospital of the Infant Jesus
