Voter registration for 2019 polls resumes

Comelec sees 'no evidence of any sort of breach' in system even if validation still ongoing

The Commission on Elections will resume starting on Monday, July 2, the voter registration for the 2019 midterm elections.

The poll body has set the registration period nationwide, except in Marawi City, from July 2 to Sept. 29 in preparation for the May 2019 national and local elections.

Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez said applications must be personally filed in the offices of the election officer where applicant resides from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, Mondays to Saturdays, including holidays. Tina G. Santos
