Bureau of Immigration (BI) agents arrested a Japanese national in Malate, Manila who was wanted for theft, counterfeiting of private documents and fraud in his homeland.

BI commissioner Jaime Morente on Wednesday identified the fugitive as 49-year old Toshio Hoshino who was hiding in a hotel along Mabini Street. Hoshino was arrested by BI operatives on June 12, Tuesday.
