The state weather bureau warned the public to take precautionary measures as thunderstorms are expected to hit Metro Manila on Wednesday afternoon.
“Heavy rains with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila within the next 1 hour,” the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in a thunderstorm advisory at 2:45 p.m.
The same weather conditions are affecting parts of Cavite and may persist in the next two hours.
